The SLV LL Board of Directors has been working hard to plan the Spring 2022 little league season!
We are excited to bring back a full offering of divisions:
Divisions / League Ages
San Lorenzo Little League has six divisions for play... tryouts will be required for players in AA and above. Use the
league age calculator or
the chart from Little League Baseball, to get an idea of where your player will be placed. We use the following ages as a rule of thumb:
T-Ball: Little League Tee Ball is the introductory level of Little League program and is open to players league age 4-6. Tee Ball is a noncompetitive program focused on fun, fitness and fundamentals
A-Ball: The Coach/Machine Pitch Division is an instructional level of play open to players league ages 5-8. Players ages 5-6 year olds may participate at this level of play provided they have at least one year of T-Ball experience.
AA: The Machine/Player Pitch Division is an instructional level of play open to players league age 7-9. During first half of the season the teams will use a pitching machine and the second half of the season will be kid pitch. This gives the players time to develop their arms and work on pitching technique
AAA/Minors: The Minor Player Pitch Division is an instructional level of play open to players league age 9-10
Majors: The Major Division is open to players league ages 10-12.
50/70: New to our league last year, the Intermediate (50/70) Division is open to players league age 13 (12 year olds can play both Majors and 50/70, if there is a league need). This Division is played on a field with a 50 ft. pitching distance and 70 ft base paths with leading off and stealing permitted.
We will always adjust as necessary based on skill level or safety. If players have played 2 years in one division they MUST move up to the next level of participation.
Fees:
Tee Ball=$125
A, AA, AAA, Majors and Intermediate=$165
(Additional sibling registrations family=$125)
